The mission of A Second Mile is to provide resources and outreach to children from broken homes by promoting educational enrichment, team work, as well as physical and emotional support that will build self confidence and develop responsible leaders for the next generation.
The DREAMBIG ANYWAY essay contest is a scholarship competition for high school seniors who are being raised in a single parent home. You can win a $300.00 scholarship by writing a 300 - 400 word essay on what the impact of being raised in a single parent home has had on your life.
