Through your commitment, we are able to provide substantial assistance to those in need in our community by providing our youth and their families with tools and resources that enable them to become fully participating members of our community.

Our collaborations with businesses and corporations are invaluable to our efforts. Through our events, businesses have an opportunity to provide sponsorship support that significantly contributes to our overall fundraising efforts.

 

In-Kind Gifts

We are always in need of hands-on resources for our various programs and events. Connect with us by donating supplies, including new products, school supplies, books, toys, or excess finished goods such as out-of-date inventory.

 

Employee involvement

Encourage your employees to get involved with us. As an employer, you can:

• Provide paid release time during business hours so that employees can volunteer for our events

• Encourage your corporate executives to serve on our committees, or as mentors

• Organize an employee donation drive

 

Pro bono services

Share your expertise with us by donating pro bono services or discounts on services provided. Examples of pro bono services we frequently make use of include:

• Printing

• Advertising space

• Training

• Space rental

 

Cause-Related Marketing — Corporate Partners

Join us in our efforts to end the effects of fatherlessness by taking advantage of our cause-related marketing initiatives. Your business can:

• Sponsor one of our many programs geared towards youth from low income families and single moms.

• Sponsor one of our outreach events (sports, educational, etc).

• Implement a "matching" program, in which every dollar spent by one of your customers is matched by your business and donated to our organization

• Donate a percentage of your sales revenue to a particular event or activity organized by A Second Mile.

Sign on as our Corporate Partner (yearly $1500.00 contribution) and receive distinctive benefits:

• Special recognition/mention of your company or business at all of our events

• A banner advertising your business/logo on our website sponsorship page for 12 months 

• Media (print/web/social media) exposure on all event flyers and select publications distributed by "A Second Mile".
