The mission of A Second Mile is to provide resources and outreach to children from broken homes by promoting educational enrichment, team work, as well as physical and emotional support that will build self confidence and develop responsible leaders for the next generation.

2015 Community Outreach
December 19 - 23, A Second Mile will distributed more than 600 Christmas stockings to low income families and shelters throughout the community. The families will receive a printed family picture with Santa and a Christmas Stocking. Thanks to our sponsors and volunteers for making it all possible.

2015 Single Parents Support Year End Celebration
Heart to Heart single moms support group end-of-the-year celebration was a blast. It was a long year for many of the moms. Throughout the year, we completed 3, 8 week long sessions with wonderful guest speakers who empowered and inspired the moms. In the end, we relaxed, reflected and just enjoyed the time together.
2015 Bike-a-Thon Fundraiser
10 miles on the Santa Ana River Bike Trail. Through the sponsorship and donations of our supporter, our fundraising efforts yielded great results for the cause of fatherlessness. These funds will go to fund the administration, events and programs of A Second Mile.

2016 Jr. Entrepreneur Program
This program is designed to enlighten the minds of children from single parent homes with the idea of entrepreneurship. The kids spent a day learning the in's and out's of the McDonalds franchise corporation, both on location and ending with a visit to the corporate office of the Webb Family Enterprises.
